It is advisable to use a metal tape measure were possible and take time to measure carefully so you give exact and correct measurements. You should measure in which ever type of measurement you are happiest with, be it feet and inches, inches, centimetres or even millimetres
The Width
To measure the window width for net curtain, simply measure the inside of the recess from wall to wall/ edge to edge.
The Drop
The length of the curtain means measuring from the top of the window recess or the top of the net/tension rod or net wire to the bottom of the window sill or ledge. Net curtains usually come in standard drops but we can alter your nets if a window is between sizes.

We can discuss with you what type of fullness/gather you would like your curtains to have. It is usually recommended that you have double or double and a half times the width of your window, depending on how full you like them to be and how much privacy you need.
